Risk Assessment is coming on Print E-mail

I am well into writing the general risk assessment that covers all aspects of the trip that is not specific to a particular leg...

I am hoping that this General section will be completed in the next few days. After that I then start the detailed passage planning and risk assessments for each leg. This is where I look at my rough plan and turn it into a passage plan I can use on the day. It will be a long job because I am going to assess and compile details of every intermediate harbour and possible "bolt hole" so that I am fully prepared in case they are needed enroute.

I reckon that this will take about a day per leg and with 20 legs that is 3 weeks work!

What an interesting task but quite hard work... at the end I will at least be familiar with the coastline on the route and combined with your comments and local knowledge I will be better prepared too.
