This evening the forecasts look very favourable for a departure tomorrow. F3-4 reducing to a F2-3 later in the day. The sea state may be a little bumpy at first particularly with wind over tide for the first couple of hours but it looks like it will calm down to a slight-moderate after midday.

I will see how it looks when I get out there but I have a backup plan to travel more inland making a diversion to Fowey or Falmouth easier should it be sensible to cut the leg short. However, if it looks as though the forecast is panning out as planned then I will stick to my original route… direct Rame Head to The Lizard. If I have to spend much time off the plane then it could be quite a long trip so I am leaving at 9am. Even if I do 7kts all the way it will still only be 7-8 hours.
