Through the Sea Lock

Paul is now through the sea lock and secured for the night. There is poor mobile phone coverage and no wifi so he is not able to post much, but he has some fantastic photos of the  wonderful scenery including Ben Nevis, and despite the lumpy water he had a wonderful journey. He will move on tomorrow but does not intend to rush through the canal so will take 3 or 4 days over it.

Hi Sally……………..How on earth did you manage to go to Trago Mills and not spend any money:-D
Can you let us know if there is anything in advance we can do for Paul when he arrives for his Peterhead-Eyemouth leg of the journey. This is the leg we are sponsoring?
It’s good to see he is progressing rapidly now. Let’s hope the weather holds and he can keep up this pace. (Mind you the forecast for today is abysmal).

  2. Sally responded:

Hi:) I am very economical to run aren’t I:) Paul is looking forward immensely to seeing you - a couple of big things that would really help - see if there is a major shop or shopping centre that would allow him to collect for a day (unfortunately we don’t know which day!) and see if any media are interested in meeting him and you, as his sponsor, while he is there. Success with either or both would be absolutely fantastic - thanks so much for your support.
