Slow boat to Ft William

The weather this morning is OK for the leg but a little windier than I would have liked… actual is F4 and forecast is F4-5 occasional 6 on one forecast but only a F3-4 on another… again it is not clear which way it will go. It shouldn’t be a problem for the sea state as there is lots of shelter in the islands here but it might be interesting getting into and out of the locks at Corpach. I have called ahead and the lock keepers are ready for me as I am singlehanded.

The schedule is quite tight to get there before 1pm but that doesn’t mean I have to blast my way there. There is a little time for slower running and so I will be going slowly from time to time to take in the scenery. Can’t wait!

Take it easy going up there and enjoy the scenery. This is the area where Anne and I really met and the scenery is spectacular.

Good to see that your back on your way again.
