Crisp and clear
I have awoken this morning to a beautiful crisp and clear, sunny morning although it is rather chilly. There is almost no wind and all I can hear are the birds chirping all around. Clear, still mornings like this bring their own little devils with them especially after a lot of rain… fog. There is definitely fog around. I can see a bank of it on the other side of the river although the north side is clear at the moment. I suspect that I might encounter some on route today but when it came out yesterday the sun was very warm and so there is a good chance it will burn off fairly quickly… at least near the land.
Forecast is for F2-3 and slight once I am past St David’s Head but it could be a little rougher for the first hour or two. I suspect not though as there is absolutely no wind and hasn’t been all night.
So, I depart at about 7-7.30 giving me an hour and a half to do the 20 miles or so to Jack Sound.
See you in Pwllheli…
