Sally’s Blog - I’ve hardly stopped

Golly what a week so far! So sorry I’ve not written my blog but it really has been non-stop.

Monday was spent with the builder and his mate constructing and plumbing in the new bath - it’s a bit more complicated than just a bath which I won’t try to explain but suffice it to say it took all day before it was all in and working.

On Tuesday I had the Windows and Doors man round to look at a problem with the front door and then I got stuck into clearing up from the day before, clearing out all the rubbish in the garage, taking it all down to the dump and then constructing the bike rack which I had ordered online.

On Wednesday I went off to get a number plate for the bike rack and also went to B&Q to take some tools back. You may be detectng a certain pattern to how I like to use my time. Give me a few hours on my own and I am more likely to fix the toilet than to go shopping or do my nails! I guess the fact that I chose Engineering and IT for my career is a bit of a clue to what I enjoy! Our friend Colin helped me drill the number plate and fix it to the bike rack - thanks Colin!

Today I went round to a friend with our two mountain bikes on the new bike rack and we spent the morning servicing them and fixing the faulty gear change on one of them. I then reciprocated my friend’s help by fixing a few problems he had with his laptop! Thanks for your help Terry!

That sorted I took one of the bikes out for a ride, came home and had a shower and now in an hour I am off to meet the new Amateur Dramatic group who are called The Tamaritans. I’ll let you know how it goes.

So that ends Thursday. I am hoping tomorrow is a bit less hectic, but we shall see. Paul can do the moving tomorrow I think!! I plan to watch the cricket….
