Calming down
Going to bed tonight the wind is way down and if a F2-3. If this stays like that overnight I will certainly be away tomorrow morning.

The wind here is finally showing some signs of abating somewhat here in Conwy. It has been blowing a firm F4-5 all day but for the first time since I arrived it is now just a F3-4 and with the forecast indicating that it should stay F3-4 tomorrow I am hopeful I can get away tomorrow. If I do go then I would expect the sea to be a moderate reducung to slight but I might be happy to accept that providing I am quite sure that the situation is getting better and little chance of getting worse. I do not need a dead early start tomorrow so I will post when I am up and about and probably not before 8am. More windJune 13th, 2008, 9:09:35 am
Awoke yet again to a F4-5 so the abatement hasn’t yet started. The interesting thing is that if you look at the pressure chart the isobars are quite far apart and it doesn’t suggest that we would have a strong wind like this… none the less it is here. More thoughts later but if this hasn’t started to drop by this evening then a departure tomorrow is looking more unlikely. |
