Hi there, I'm a friend of Paul's and also a boater - I was just wondering about the sightings that have been reported - do these also include porpoises and do you need back dated sightings? If so I'll add a few - if not we'll keep a note from now on for you.
Regards
Paul

Hi Paul.
Sorry about the delay in answering your post, somehow missed it.
All sightings are important, not just to DCUK my information goes on a database and is sent on to various other organisations.
I would appreciate sightings from all people all around the UK, photographs are also welcomed even if they are off a mobile phone.
Strandings are also very important, especially that of deceased animals.
It is not morbid, we need to find out why these animals died, this information goes to my contact at the Natural History Museum.
I am also hoping Paul will see wonderful sightings on his journey and will keep me informed all the way round the UK.
June, July, August and September will see lots of different species appearing and it will help Paul break any boredom he may be feeling.
I have yet to ask Paul to do this for me.
Thanks for your post and any future sightings you may come across.
Regards.
Chris
